It’s not too difficult. Basically you have to film yourself doing your best Christopher Walken impression and upload it as a response to our video challenge on YouTube. You can find our challenge video here. Make sure your video is posted as a “Response” in order to qualify.
Voting will be tabulated by YouTube.com as viewers click to rate videos, and the highest rated entry at the end of the day on February 29, 2008 will be deemed the winner. The winner will need to have a minimum of 25 votes, so submit your entry as soon as possible. You are free to submit as many videos as you like.
Complete submission information is available on our Submit Your Video page.
If you know you’re the best really and want to improve your odds of winning, ask your friends to view your video on YouTube and cast their votes.
Once the judging period ends and all the votes are in, we’ll contact the winner to send out the trophy. You will be asked to video an acceptance speech and submit that for our use on the site.
The longer rules read like this:
1 – The video must be of you. If the winning video is not of you, the person who you submitted will be the winner.
2 – We have your permission to use the video on our site to promote future competitions, in any form necessary, regardless of host, aggregator, or other factors, as deemed appropriate.
3 – You may submit as many entries as you like for contest consideration.
4 – Winner must have a minimum of 100 votes, so all entries should be submitted as soon as possible, since final voting will close February 29, 2008.
5 – WalkenTheWalk.com makes no warranty for the security or authenticity of votes submitted to YouTube.
6 – This contest is open to the public.
7 – No purchase necessary.
8 – Void where prohibited by law.
9 – No cash prizes will be offered, award is not redeemable for cash, and award must be accepted as offered.
10 – Only one prize will be given, the grand prize, and this prize has no monetary value.
Good luck!
